(They say a professional weight-lifter burns more calories sitting around doing nothing than a marathon runner does while running a marathon).

Holy hell. Really?

I can completely relate to the spot thing. Mine seem to be under control (touches wood, waves horseshoe etc) at the moment but I have had some hideous ones. My personal nadir was when going through a very stressful time breaking up with my then boyfriend and moving out of our flat. Despite my medication and everything else I slathered on it (lavender is my thing of choice - I even quite like the smell) it came up like an angry red meteor. And when I told one of my mates about it he told me it couldn't be that bad... Until I fled round his house in trauma after a particularly bad row and he opened the front door with the words 'holy shit, that's not a meteor, it's a bloody planet. With it's own gravitational pull!' Horrible. I wanted to just stay in my house and not go out - and the worse thing is if you put stuff on them like foundation it gunks them up, and then it makes it worse, which means it's a massive cycle of pain.

I think the food choices you're making are considered to be good ones for any PCOS-ey type symptoms, although the wholegrain stuff gets me. I like white bread. Brown bread is minging. But better for you. Pah.

And I have to say, 122 days is a very specific length of time...
